Weekly Trail Exploration Update

On Thursday we explored the route between South Wardsboro center, starting at the Congregational Church, going west along Cobb Read Road to Finkel Road. At the end of Finkel road we continued on the snowmobile route and eventually ended up on Gilfeather Road. We were aiming for Dump Road but deviated too far to the west. Being so far off course, we hitched a ride at a farm along the way back to Wardsboro. We were delighted to be joined by the Rev. Jonathan Heydenreich of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brattleboro which is becoming involved in our pilgrimage effort.
